WE STRONGLY CONDEMN THE VIOLENCE AT THE LOC INITIATED BY THE INDIAN GOVERNMENT: HABIB YOUSAFZAI, KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE

ASSLAAM-O-ALAIKUM!

The Kashmir Diaspora Alliance strongly condemns the use of force on the LOC by the Indian government in order to maintain its illegal occupation over Kashmir. It has failed to realize the fact that it originally occupied the territory of 42000 square milesunder the precept of maintaining law and order over six decades ago and has yet to withdraw. The maintenance of law and order was the assurance of the then Prime Minister of Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru. Instead of leaving as promised, it has furthered its hegemonic ambitions by occupying various other territories such as Sikh Homeland Punjab, Khalistan, Junagar, Hyderabad, Manawa etc. increasing its material power at the cost of grave human rights violations and death. After six decades of illegal occupation it is now aggressively attacking Pakistani soldiers on the ceasefire line (LoC) in the region of Jammu and Kashmir. As a result, everyday casualties are mounting on both sides. The Indian government has failed to understand that one who owns something will go to any means necessary in order to defend and hold onto what belongs to them as Pakistan is clearly doing so. On the other hand, India as the occupier must realize that it has a choice, and must choose justice which can only come through disengaging and withdrawing every single armed and civil personnel from Maqbooza Kashmir.

KASHMIR IS THE JUGULAR VEIN OF PAKISTAN, AND THE LACK OF RESOLUTION OF THIS ISSUE HAS ADVERSE NEGATIVE EFFECTS ON BOTH INDIA AND PAKISTAN

KASHMIR IS THE JUGULAR VEIN OF PAKISTAN, AND THE LACK OF RESOLUTION OF THIS ISSUE HAS ADVERSE NEGATIVE EFFECTS ON BOTH INDIA AND PAKISTAN:
HABIB YOUSAFZAI, KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE

ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM!

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s recent statement describing Kashmir as the jugular vein of Pakistan is definitely a step in the right direction. The Pakistani state as a whole must have a single policy prescription with regards to Maqbooza Kashmir. Division and disunity only weaken and extend a crisis situation which has for too long gone unsolved. Aside from this, Mr. Sharif’s push towards moving past the Kashmiri issue so that both states can move towards matters which really are in a dire need of being addressed; poverty, hunger, lack of education, and widespread arrogance within both nations is a refreshing observation and development. Although the plight of the Kashmiri people is dire, there is also so much more that both states must address. Rather than tirelessly working circles around the Kashmir issue, both parties should step to the table and initiate the original plebiscite which was initiated in 1948 at the UN Security Council.

As a precursor to this though, Pakistan must first constitutionally embed Maqbooza Kashmir as its integral legal territory so that all spokesperson for the state can speak as one autonomous voice with a single and coherent goal; the liberation of Maqbooza Kashmir from decades of Indian occupation. Only when this is established can Pakistan mend out the contradictions within its own internal sphere and look to solving problems which they are facing via the Indian occupation in the external realm.

At the heart of all these discussions and developments should be as Nawaz Sharif subtly hinted at is a people centered approach. Both states must come to the table and realize that real people’s lives are adversely being affected both within Maqbooza Kashmir, and abroad due to the Indian occupation. This is negatively affecting both states. When this fact is first acknowledged, only then can both states move forward and solve the Kashmir issue as it is in both of their interests.

Kashmir is Pakistan's 'jugular vein', says Nawaz Sharif
Press Trust of India: August 19,2013
Islamabad: Describing Kashmir as the "jugular vein" of his country, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today said India and Pakistan should join hands to tackle poverty and disease instead of wasting their resources on wars.

Kashmir is a "national issue and the jugular vein of Pakistan" and its resolution is as dear to him as other Pakistanis, Mr Sharif said in his first address to the nation since assuming office in June.

He cautioned that Pakistan cannot achieve any target without strengthening its economy. "Alongside the Kashmir issue we will have to pay attention to strengthening our economy resolve our internal and external problems and tackle the power crisis and terrorism," he said.
Referring to his desire to forge good relations with India, Mr Sharif said both countries should realise that "instead of wasting their energies and resources on wars they should wage war against poverty ignorance and disease".

Pakistan and India will have to join their heads together to address common issues like poverty and ignorance, he said.

"History bears testimony to the fact that progress and development of a nation is deeply linked to cordial relations with neighbours. It is because of this that we want good relations with all neighbours, including India," he said.

Mr Sharif said he had "always wanted good relations with India" and the people had supported his contention during the general election in May.

Without referring to clashes along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, Mr Sharif said the country is "fully prepared to defend the motherland along with its valiant armed forces".

Mr Sharif's PML-N party won the polls with a clear majority but has been struggling with an array of challenges, ranging from a crippling energy crisis to a Taliban insurgency.

Ties between Islamabad and New Delhi too have soured since five Indian soldiers were killed in an attack by Pakistani troops along the LoC.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: HABIB YOUSAFZAI, KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE

ASSLAAM-O-ALAIKUM!

It is far more distinguished and highly commended to sacrifice one’s own individual aspirations for the sake of others and the greater good. As a matter of wisdom, an individual should be weary of praising himself as this does nothing but feed into his sense of self. It is undeniable that Kashmiris have always sacrificed for others and they will unwaveringly continue down the road of high moral and ethical conduct no matter what the consequences. I once again reiterate; Azad Kashmir is a part of Pakistan and Maqbooza Kashmir will also accede to it after it is liberated from Indian occupation. All those who are aware of the factual situation on the ground would not dare head towards a proposition which would foolishly vie to dismember Pakistan vis a vis a separate Azad Kashmiri state (containing only 4200 square miles which is currently in your control). Not only is this goal extremely unrealistic given the power structure of the region, it is also not in the best interest of the Kashmiri people. There is a very old wise saying; united we stand and divided we fall. As such, we cannot afford anymore division within our lines and we will continue to strive hard despite the grave obstacles in our path. This struggle will not end until every single Indian armed and civil personnel withdraw from Maqbooza Kashmir.

Lastly, I would like to send due praise and recognition to those that have participated in the protests taking place in England for the oppressed people of Maqbooza Kashmir. I pray that Allah (SWT) give you your due reward in this life and the hereafter for sacrificing your valuable time to speak out for the oppressed who do not possess a voice of their own and I am confident that He will.

CLEAR CONTRADICTIONS IN THE SELF-INTERESTED LOGIC OF NATIONALIST CLAIMS

CLEAR CONTRADICTIONS IN THE SELF-INTERESTED LOGIC OF NATIONALIST CLAIMS: HABIB YOUSAFZAI, KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE

ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM!

It is interesting to note and question the flawed logic of people who are attempting to divide Muslims on the basis of their geographic location/place of residence such as Kashmir, Gujarat (in Pakistan, where it is estimated that more than 30% of the population is from Jammu origin), Multan, Peshawar etc. However, were they to attain their goal, how would they advise the Kashmiri people to stay united? We too are made up of various different geographic regions and peoples such as Jammu, Ladakh, Giglit, Punch, Balti, and Srinagar etc. There is a clear contradiction and selectivity here as using the same logic to divide Kashmir for their own agenda; these self-interested individuals are attempting to keep Kashmir itself united?! Where do we draw the line on disunity and division under the logic of greed and nationalism?

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL ON 66 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE OF THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN: HABIB YOUSAFZAI, KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL ON 66 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE OF THE ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN: HABIB YOUSAFZAI, KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE

ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM!

Dr. Khalid Taj of Muslim League (N) Canada organized a celebration to commemorate 66 years of independence for the Islamic Republic of Pakistan at Lahore Tikka House on Gerrard Street in Toronto Canada. Habib Yousafzai, Dr. Azrab Khan, Khawaja Rafique, Peter Tabuns Toronto Danforth MPP, Craig Scott Toronto Danforth MP, and Rathika Sitsabaiesan Scarborough Rouge MP were all in attendance.

I, Habib Yousafzai, member of the Kashmir Diaspora Alliance was privileged to have been able to deliver a speech at this joyous and exceptional event which not only celebrated the birth of a nation, but was also an opportunity to critically reflect on the problems we face today. I began by congratulating all those in attendance for the 66 years of independence of the Islamic Republic of Pakistani. I am wholly a proud, Kashmiri, a proud Pakistani, and a proud Canadian. Yet these identities do not conflict with each other, and this was a message that was essential to drive home to our politically oriented members of government in attendance. Canada stands for freedom and justice, and as such, it must stand a long side Pakistan’s claim on Kashmir.

Kashmir has never been, and never can be an integral part of India despite any claims of efficacy or eloquent language that it may use in order to contrive and legitimate its illegal occupation. The people of Jammu and Kashmir ARE the people of Pakistan. This is a fact and an undeniable reality as they are closer to the people of Pakistan in; blood, their life, kith and kin, culture, religion, geography, and history. Since India’s initial occupation of 42,000 square miles of Jammu and Kashmir and its strategic approach to the UN which created a UN Security Council Resolution ordering a plebiscite (which India up until today refuses to respect and be a willing member in its facilitation), the Indian state has been free of reproach. This is to state that despite being the occupier, the international community has taken a stance of indifference and neutrality. This fact is appalling and cannot be condoned. Canada as a peace loving nation must not continue along the historical trajectory which legitimates indifference through impartiality to both parties and must accept and acknowledge that it is the Pakistani state that is a victim of aggression. In its ambitions for regional hegemony, the Indian state has been a rampant human rights violator ignorant to the cost of human life and human suffering.

As a final note, I clearly asserted that regardless of our size or material power, we as a Pakistani nation would never abandon the people of Maqbooza Kashmir, our people, as this nation was founded on justice and it will continue to strive for the justice of its citizens who have been for too long occupied. As such, the Canadian government which represents itself as a promoter of human rights, democracy, and justice in the international sphere must live up to its name and its responsibilities under international law and do its best to work with Pakistani state and convince other states to come on board the path of justice. Members of the Canadian government which were present, especially Mr. Peter Tabuns MPP of the Danforth riding in Toronto clearly asserted that they are with the people of Pakistan in their rightful claim on Kashmir and will wholly support it.

BLACK DAY FOR THE SIKHS OF THE "ROBBED" PUNJAB AND THE CITIZENS OF THE INTERNATIONALLY DISPUTED AREAS OF JAMMU AND KASHMIR IDA:JK (AKA MAQBOOZA KASHMIR)

BLACK DAY FOR THE SIKHS OF THE "ROBBED" PUNJAB AND THE CITIZENS OF THE INTERNATIONALLY DISPUTED AREAS OF JAMMU AND KASHMIR IDA:JK (AKA MAQBOOZA KASHMIR): DR. AWATAR SINGH SEKHON ADVISOR (FOREIGN AFFAIRS)DAL KHALSA ALLIANCE USA

PRESS RELEASE

On 15th August, 1947, on or before 23-h 59-min -59 sec, before entering into 16th August, 1947, "annexed" PUNJAB of monarch Ranjit Singh, 1799 to 14th March, 1849, was "Robbed" by the 'unelected' Congress Party's 'unelected' leaders like MK Gandhi, JL Nehru, VB Patel, GB Pant, Madan Mohan Malviya and their Brahmin-Hindu-Baniya supporters, when the British India Empire's political power was presented on platter to the Congress Party of the British India Empire. Right after receiving the 'freedom' of the Hindus-Mughal kingdoms conglomerates wer given the name of 'Free India'. The British Empire's control ceased to exist on the British India Empire. This has been the "Freedom/Independence of the British India Empire.

The Sikh leader, Master Tara Singh, and his associates watched the 'Freedom of the British India Empire' as mute spectators, without knowing that the Sikhs PUNJAB "annexed" to the British Empire on 29th March, 1849, is being "Robbed" under the smoke screen of the Celebrations of the British India Empire's independence.

Since 15th August, 1947, more than 3.2 to 3.4 million (32 to 34 lacs) Sikhs have been 'butchered' by the alleged Indian democracy/demoncrazy; with an'undeclared' war on the "Robbed" PUNJAB of 15th August, 1947. Besides, more than 500,000 citizens of the IDA:JK (Internationally Disputed Areas of Jammu and Kashmir, under the 'OCCUPATION' of the alleged Indian democrazy have been killed by the Indian Armed Forces and armed personnel; more than 500,000 Muslims have been slaughtered; more than 321,500 Christians have been killed, including the Roman Catholic nuns, Father Grahan Stains and his two sons of Australiahundreds of thousand Dalits; 15,000 Tamils; 15,000 citizens of Assam and its 7-sister; tens of thousand Adivaases; Bodos, etc. The slaughtering Sikhs, non-Brahmins-Hindus, since 15th August, 1947, indicates thatIndia is not a democracy, rather it is demoncrazy.

Since 15th August, 1947, there are more than 160 insurgency movements have been going on to regain their "Sovereignty and Independence" from the Brahmins-Hindus, their armed personnel who have had no respect for the Gross Human Rights, Religious and Political places, and have been betraying the non-Hindus-Brahmins minorities. In fact, the Brahmins-Hindus are NOT a majority of the country. There population is only 10% (7 + 3 %) of a total population of over 1.2 billion hungry mouths.

The people of the IDA:JK and the Sikhs of the "Robbed" PUNJAB of 15th August, 1947, have already declared the Brahmins-Hindus' Independence day (15th August) is the 'BLACK DAY' for the Kashmiris and Sikhs (the "Robbed" PUNJAB of 15th August, 1947).
