Despite of the clear cut agreement of the division of the subcontinent of India, the Indian state has occupied under the guise of maintaining law and order 42000 square miles of Jammu and Kashmir. Like an Iguana, it has gradually change itself and shown its true colours and has yet to withdraw its forces from the region, and instead, has and continues to commit gross and systematic human rights violations. The United Nations has clearly decided that the area is a disputed territory and the fate of Kashmir should be decided by the will of its people to accede to either India or Pakistan. 67 years is too long for the occupation of the Internationally Disputed Areas of Jammu Kashmir (IDA:JK).

Even those who have sacrificed so much for the majority Hindu state, the Sikh nation have become a landless people as there state of Khalistan has been occupied and they have been deemed long haired Hindus. The state of minorities is in a situation where basic principles of Islam cannot be followed such as the call to prayer from the mosque. In the occupied territories of Jammu and Kashmir, un-Islamic traditions are being implemented forcefully which are inherently against the will of the people. The bottom line is that a plebiscite must take place as the right to self determination is a right possessed by all humans, and by all nations and India’s past of barring the peace process must not be passively allowed into the future. Only solution of the problems is (i) force the Brahmins-Hindus-Turbaned Brahmins' alleged Indian personnel (armed and civil) be out of the IDA:JK, (ii) let the UN forces be in to implement the 1948 Resolution of the Security Council: United Nations for the "Self-Determination" process to conduct, and (iii) let the citizens of the IDA:JK decide their future, whether they would like to stay as a Sovereign country or be the part of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Since the alleged Indian functional system is getting bad to worst, it is impossible to stay as the partner of the stinking demo[n]cratic system. It is better that let the IDA:JK decide their own future for once and all.

Article 370 and continuation is only like to stay "breathing using a Machine." As long the IDA:JK is connected to the Article 370, they will continue breathing with 'tremendous' difficulties of rapes, killings, humiliation, dehumanization, etc., under the armed control and the draconian law like the Indian Armed Forces Protection of Special Powers Act. Under this draconian law, no Indian armed forces personnel will be charged and prosecuted as the Special Powers Act provides immunity to the alleged Indian demo[n]cracy's personnel.

Enough is enough. The status quo cannot be kept in the IDA:JK and other parts/provinces/territories of the Brahmins-Hindus-Turbaned alleged Indian democracy. 

The freedom-loving people cannot expect and justice and solution from the New Delhi administration headed by a "murderer, killers and Gross Human Rights Violations Committing person like Narendra Modi of Gujarat."

Mr. Narendra Modi will be sworn in 6:00pm Monday, May 26, 2014 as the 15 Prime Minister of India. The Prime Minister of Pakistan along with top leaders from SAARC are also invited to attend the ceremony to swear in Mr. Modi. For Pakistan’s Prime Minister to attend this ceremony is a good gesture to strengthen the overall confidence building measures between the two countries. Pakistan and India have fought over Maqbooza Kashmir [also known and designated by United Nations Security Council as Internationally Disputed Areas of Jammu Kashmir (IDA: JK)] in three wars as a result of Indian occupation over 42000 square miles and the enslavement of the people. Wars are not a solution to problems as war is in itself a problem. However, before moving forward as speaking of friendship and setting past problems aside, one must understand the situation in Kashmir, and essentially, it is very simple to understand.

During the partition, the two nation theory was used in order to divide the subcontinent. As such, Muslim majority states would go to Pakistan, whereas Hindu majority would go to India. Despite the fact that the rulers of Manawa, Junagar, and Hyderabad decided not to go with India, they were occupied none the less as the Indian state asserted that they are inhabited by a majority population of the Hindu faith, and as such, the territories belong to them. However, the Indian state has occupied Kashmir under the guise of restoring law and order at the time, and has yet to withdraw its occupation forces. This is clear hypocrisy and a double standard as India has no right in the occupation of this Muslim majority state. Further, the people on the ground also unanimously are resisting Indian occupation in order to accede to Pakistan.

These occupations were carried out by India in order to establish hegemony in the region. Similarly, the Sikh Homeland Punjab, Khalistan was also occupied while they have historically been a sovereign and distinct nation. Sikhs have been homogenized into the fold of Hinduism as the Indian rulers state the Sikhs are Hindus.

Furthermore, in order to further weaken the Pakistani state and fulfill its hegemonic ambitions it had influenced and broken East Pakistan using ethnicity as the motive and propagating the idea that Bengalis are thought of inferior and slaves of West Pakistan. By destabilizing and negatively influencing them, they were able to break apart Pakistan.

How can there be friendship between India and Pakistan? In Maqbooza Kashmir, how can the occupation and the atrocities committed by the more than 700,000 Indian forces against the Kashmiri citizens be forgotten? How can there be peace and friendship when the Indian regime and its armed forces have killed more than 202,843 citizens, made 216,035 arrests, 110,157 have disappeared, 115,815 homes demolished, leaving 122,839 widows and 207,388 orphans?  At this very moment, gross and systematic violations are being committed by the Indian forces such as rape, torture, and many other human rights violations. With all this, how can there possibly be friendship? There can indeed be forgiveness, but if there is no change in the Indian states illegal and immoral stance, how can one forget?

As such, the attendance of the Pakistan Prime Minister at the inauguration ceremony of the new Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi would be nothing more than a formality if he does choose to attend. It is essential to note that war is a last option, and inherently bad; but sometimes the cost of not going to war outweighs the damage done had one gone to war. As such, war cannot be ruled out. We the people of Maqbooza Kashmir urge the Pakistani state to take all action necessary so that the people of the occupied territories can once again be free. India must immediately withdraw all of its armed and civil personnel from the occupied territories. Only then can there be forgiveness, only then will the people of Maqbooza Kashmir and Pakistan forget. Only then will there ever be a chance for friendship.

The annual Khalsa Day parade started around 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the Malton Gurduwara at 7280 Airport Road in Mississauga. The parade concluded at around 8:00 pm at the Sikh Spiritual Centre located at 9 Carrier Drive in Toronto. Over a 100,000 people participated in the parade from all different walks of life. Extensive preparations were made for the distribution of food and culturally special dishes.

The Sikh religion was originally created by Guru Nanak Sahib on 1469, the first of the 10 Gurus, and followed by Guru Angad Sahib, Guru Amardas Sahib, Guru Ramdass Sahib, Guru Arjan Sahib, Guru Hargobind Sahib, Guru Har Rai Sahib, Guru Harkrishan Sahib, Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib, and lastly Guru Gobind Singh Sahib. The final Guru completed the teachings of the religion in 1708, however, thereafter, the Sikh Holy Scripture was left behind in the form of the Guru Granth Sahib in order to provide guidance.

The Sikh nation, or the followers of Sikhism are unique in that they assert not only responsibility to cleanse and purify oneself internally by mediating and providing for oneself, but also accepting a duty to improving society at large. It is a historical fact that the Sikhs have always emphasized sovereignty for themselves as a distinct religion and nation. In the contemporary period, due to much strategic misguidance which took places in the events of the past specifically in the partition of India in 1947, the Sikh nation was defrauded and are now a landless people. Just 6 weeks after partition, and after all the sacrifices that were made by the Sikh nation, the Indian government announced that the state is one that is secular, and the Sikh nation is a menace to society.

The cause of Khalistan still exists until today in order to attain freedom from the shackles of slavery. In order to suppress their freedom movement, they have been historically oppressed such as the attack on the Darbar Sahib Amritsar (also mistakenly known as Golden Temple) in 1984, and until this day with illegal arrests and judicial murder. Until this day, more than 270,000 Sikhs have died under the banner for freedom.

I was personally at the event for about 7 hours, and I noticed that almost every Sikh was carrying the flag of Khalistan and were chanting phrases for freedom. They are more determined than ever to attain freedom from Indian occupation.

SRINAGAR: Senior Hurriyat Conference leader and Chairman Islamic Political Party Mr. Muhammad Yousuf Naqash is still under police custody in Safa Kadal Police Station. The Islamic Political Party spokesman has strongly condemned the attitude of the puppet administration’s attitude in power, and, has demanded his release. The Kashmir Diaspora Alliance strongly condemns the illegal detainment of Mr. Mohammad Yusuf Naqash, Chairman of the Islamic Political Party of Maqbooza Jammu and Kashmir, and others including Shabir Ahmad Shah, Mushtaq-ul Islam, and Altaf Dar to name a few. The Indian government, in order to quell the resistance, and, legitimize its illegal occupation of Maqbooza Kashmir is at the moment, and has a history of illegally arresting those individuals that speak out against the oppression within the state. But its oppression is not limited to illegal detainment; outright murder is also a strategy used by the Indian government and its occupation forces.  

Mr. Naqash has clearly asserted by murdering and detaining people, India will never be able to accomplish anything, and will never be able to suppress the freedom movement until all illegal armed and civil personnel withdraw from Maqbooza Kashmir. As such, the Indian government must realize that the region is a part of Pakistan, and the people of Kashmir and Pakistan will never give up until it is returned to its rightful state.

According to the spokesman, Chairman Islamic Political Party Maqbooza Jammu Kashmir Mr.Mohammad Yusuf Naqash has strongly refuted and rejected the false and misleading claim of India that Jammu Kashmir is its integral part and has said that India has forcibly occupied JK against the wishes of its people who are struggling and sacrificing to get rid of this Indian colonial rule and appealed North Kashmir to show exemplary determination and commitment with the sacred Freedom Movement and ongoing Freedom Movement by completely boycotting sham and fraud elections staged by India as the same is aimed at sabotaging the freedom sentiment and strengthening the forced occupation of India on Jammu Kashmir. He has also strongly condemned the cold blooded murder of 22 year old Kashmiri boy Bashir Ahmad Bhat and injuries to many regardless of age and gender. He further said that by killing and detaining people, India can never succeed in curbing the sentiment of freedom and ongoing freedom movement will continue in perpetuity till freedom from the illegal and forced occupation of India. Mr. Naqash further said that India can neither succeed in sabotaging the ongoing freedom movement by staging the fraud and sham drama of elections through gun and oppression nor can it mislead the world community any more as world has watched what sham fate India met in Jammu Kashmir when majority boycotted election drama.

 Meanwhile the spokesman of the party has strongly condemned the continuous detention of party Chairman Mr.Mohammad Yusuf Naqash prominent pro-freedom leaders, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Mushtq -ul-Islam and resistance leader Mohammad Altaf Dar and many leaders and activists of Islamic Political party including Tariq Ahmad, Mohd Yusuf Mir, Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat, Riyaz Ahmad Wani, Javaid Ahmad.

For anything worth anything, the price is grave; this also stands true for a nation. Pakistan was not made at a cheap price. Estimates of the death toll at the partition of the Indian subcontinent are said to be in excess of 1.1 million, and of these, over a 100,000 were only from Jammu and Kashmir. So with this sacrifice in mind, should we simply give up, and undo the sacrifices of the past and revert to pre-Islamic tribalism and division? This does not make any sense.

And yet, the struggle and sacrifice continues until this day. Grave atrocities are being committed by more than 700,000 Indian forces against the Kashmiri citizens cannot be forgotten. The Indian regime and its armed forces have killed more than 202,841 citizens, made 216,033 arrests, 110,155 have disappeared, 115,813 homes demolished, leaving 122,837 widows and 207,386 orphans. As such, it is clear that the sacrifices have not ended and it is a known fact of what the status of Muslims is in India. Even the Sikhs who had always been allies of Hindus were not spared in India. In case of independent Kashmir its status will not be better than Maldives, Nepal, Bhutan, or Bangladesh. Allah (SWT) clearly asserts in the Quran in Surah number 3, Ayat 103, “And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.” It is quite clear that we have been ordered to live together as brothers, united, and the consequences of not doing so are clearly also highlighted. These are consequences that we can see before us today.    

The 4200 square miles called Azad Kashmir after so many sacrifices by all means is a part of Pakistan; there is no doubt about it!. Azad Kashmir’s ties with Pakistan are no different than any other integral part such as Karachi. We the Muslims of Maqbooza Kashmir are pushing towards to freedom so that we can be free of the illegal occupation of India and once again reunite with Pakistan. Everything is in the hands of Almighty God. As such, we only have two aspects which we can control; to keep our intentions clean and to put our practical efforts and struggles for this cause.
