PROTEST IN TORONTO ON SUNDAY 7TH AUGUST ,2016 TO MARK THE INDEPENDANCE DAY OF INDIA AS A BLACK DAY FOR MINORITIES, KILLLING & HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES BY INDIAN FORCES IN MAQBOOZA KASHMIR & PUNJAB ON DAILY BASIS:

ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM!

PRESS RELEASE:

Sikhs and Kashmiris sympathizers will join hands on Sunday, Aug 7th 2016 to mark the day of Independence of India as a BLACK DAY. The Sikhs and Kashmiris have suffered deaths in the hands of Indian forces and Indian police for decades. There is no reason that India should be celebrating their independence without actually giving independence to their people.

Just recently, the liberation leader of Maqbooza Kashmir, Burhan Muzaffar Wani has been murdered, and, subsequently, more than 50 unarmed Muslims have been murdered, and a consecutive 17 days curfew (still continuing to this day) is being imposed by illegal occupant Indian forces. The people of the state have been detained without food, water, and necessary medical facilities in their homes. The state has been completely cut off from rest of the country.  It is strongly demanded that the Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) be repelled immediately as it is giving a license to Indian army to kill innocent civilians in Maqbooza Kashmir, and Punjab (Khalistan). Maqbooza Kashmir is in fact a lawful part of Pakistan, and it must be handed over to them. As far as the Sikh Homeland of Punjab, Khalistan is concerned, India must hand over the charge to the Sikhs as they are its rightful owners being a sovereign nation and holding a different faith than Hindus.

The Sikhs of Punjab have been suppressed by the central Government for 6 decades including an attack of the holiest shrine Sri Darbar Sahib killing thousands still unaccounted for followed by Sikh Genocide in New Delhi in Nov 1984. On July 24th 2016, a delegation under the leadership of ex-Member Parliament, Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann, president of Akali Dal Amritsar has been barred to enter Kashmir region, which intends to raise awareness of Maqbooza Kashmir Genocide. The delegation was supposed to visit grave sites of all 50 innocent people killed by Indian Army. We demand that the people of Kashmir shall be given their Right to decide their own fate through Plebiscite under the watch of United Nations said Sardar Sukhminder Singh Hansra president of Akali Dal Amritsar Canada East.

A protest has been arranged to denounce the independence of India and mark August 15 as a BLACK DAY for SIKHS & KASHMIRIS. Every Canadian citizen who believes in human and democratic rights, and the rights of minorities to live and decide their own fate must attend this peaceful protest.
