Aasiyeh rejects India’s false claim over JK

‘Kashmir not part of India; won’t rest until merger with Pak is complete’

Srinagar, May 18: Dukhatarn-e-Millat chairperson, Syeda Asiyeh Andrabi, on Wednesday said that India’s proposed illegal draft bill that imposes heavy fines and imprisonment for not showing Kashmir as part of its map cannot deter the people of Kashmir from struggling against the illegal Indian occupation. She categorically rejected the claims made by Indian External Affairs Ministry spokesperson, Vikas Swaroop, that Jammu and Kashmir was an integral part of India.

In a statement, Andrabi also hailed the Pakistan’s timely intervention in this regard at the UN. She was referring to the letter sent by the Pakistan Foreign office to the UN in which it had written that the proposed draft bill was in violation to the UNSC resolution on JK and was against the international law. “Pakistan’s timely intervention at the UN exposing Indian lies and its illegal policies in JK is a welcome step. By all means, this Indian conspiracy is against the international law as the world knows that JK is a disputed territory. India’s lies can’t change the status of this land,” she said.

She further said that such failed tactics by India cannot deter Kashmiris from struggling against the illegal occupation. “This is yet another cheap tactic by India but it must know that such things mean nothing to us,” she added. “This bill is another failed attempt by India to weaken the resistance movement of Jammu and Kashmir. Like all the conspiracies and plots India has employed in Kashmir from the past seven decades, this too will meet a similar fate. Kashmiris will continue to struggle against the Indian occupation until India is out of here,” she added.

She said that threats of imposing fine and imprisonment can’t stop Kashmiris from resisting against India. “Kashmiri nation is witness to the numerous accounts wherein people are facing imprisonment from the past 50-60 years; we have seen mothers sending their children into the battlefield and we are also witness to the fact that our 5-year-old kids pick up stones against a brutal Indian regime. We can’t be intimidated. By issuing threats of imprisonment and fine, India is only making a fool out of itself. Such meaningless tactics cannot deter us from pursuing our goal,” “Kashmir has never been and will never be part of India. Our struggle will continue until Kashmir merges with Pakistan and the struggle for completion of the Islamic Pakistan comes to its logical end,” she added.

Geelani warns Govt: ‘Shun anti-Kashmir plans or face consequences’

The Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani on Monday alleged that communal forces were using the government machinery for implementation of RSS agenda that includes setting up of Sainik Colonies, creation of separate townships for migrant Kashmiri Pandits and implementation of New Industrial Policy.

“India is working on different plans to strengthen and prolong its control on Jammu and Kashmir. The BJP-PDP coalition government has accelerated the execution of these plans. The communal forces are using the government machinery for materialising the RSS agenda,” a spokesman of Hurriyat (G) quoted Geelani as saying while addressing the amalgam’s advisory council meeting here.

“Mehbooba Mufti and her party (PDP) are extending every help in execution of these communal agendas for the sake of chair. The recent statements of BJP leaders regarding Sainik Colonies have proven that Mehbooba, her cabinet ministers and some officials of civil administration are lying over the issue and are keeping people in dark. The circumstantial evidence indicates that Mehbooba and BJP had agreed on establishment of Sainik Colonies and the deal has deliberately been kept hidden from the general public,” Geelani said.

On creation of separate townships for the Pandits, Geelani reiterated his party stand that no Kashmiri is opposing return of KPs to the Valley.

“Both the communities lived in harmony in the past and they will continue to do so in the future. The policy makers of India want to divide the two communities along religious lines and project Kashmir as a communal issue,” Geelani said, adding that “Kashmir is not any Hindu-Muslim issue but a battle between an oppressor and the oppressed and we are fighting India because this country has snatched the freedom rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and we want that it (India) should fulfill its promises made with Kashmiris from time to time.”

Geelani has appealed to the Pandit community that they should not support any proposal or plan which will cut them off from the rest of the society and harm the brotherhood of the Kashmiri nation.

Rejecting outrightly the New Industrial Policy, Geelani said: “India wants to weaken the special status of Kashmir in every possible way and convert the Muslim majority into minority here. It wants to settle non-state subjects in J&K under different names and schemes and is trying to snatch the livelihood of Kashmiri traders and businessmen.”

Terming the announcement of the new medical colleges in the state as ‘lollipop’, Geelani said: “These colleges will admit non-local students and their condition will be like NIT Srinagar.”

“We warn the BJP-PDP coalition government that if they failed to halt the anti-Kashmir plans and misuse of the government machinery, it will trigger a sharp and serious reaction from the general public and they can sacrifice anything for their existence,” Geelani said.

Today’s advisory council meeting was attended by the heads or the representatives of Muslim Conference, Muslim League, Mass Movement, People’s League, Muslim Democratic League, Democratic Political Movement, Kashmir Freedom Front, Islamic Political Party, Tehreek-e-Mazahamat, National Front, Freedom Party, Anjuman Share-i-Shian, Tehreek-e-Khawateen Kashmir, Tehreek-e-Wahadat-i-Islami, Jammu & Kashmir Insaf Party and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat.

As per two nations theory the state of Jammu Kashmir which comprises more than 90% Muslims as on August 14, 1947 was to constitute part of Pakistan. The Muslim Conference under the leadership of Sardar Ibrahim Khan Ghazi-e-Millat to give a clear cut message to Indian leadership, who had an evil eye on the state of Jammu a Kashmir conduct a resolution on July 19,1947. It overwhelmingly voted in favor of Pakistan. But Indian rulers in collaboration with Hari Singh (the Hindu ruler of Kashmir) forcefully occupied it on October 27, 1947. Pakistan reacted and managed to liberate 4,000 square miles of the state. The liberated area of the state of Jammu Kashmir called Ghazi Kashmir is sixth province of Pakistan. The areas that remain under illegal occupation of India is about 42,000 square miles, and this is the only disputed territory.  If India hands over about 30,000 square miles and its nine million inhabitants to Pakistan without a war, this resolution is considered acceptable. India must note that Pakistan has to use force to take it back if all peaceful means are exhausted and in that case India has to vacate all 42,000 square miles under its occupation.

All four heroes and builders of Pakistan Sardar Ibrahim Khan Ghazi-e-Millat, Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas Quaid-e-Kashmir, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan Mujahid-e-Awal (Qutab of the time), and Syed Ali Geelani Qiad-e-Inqalab, and leader of entire Muslim Uma keep persuading the United Nation to ask India to withdraw from the occupied territory. But so far, this has all been in vain. Creation of countries for each tribe such as Paharis, Pothwaris, Punjabis, Kashmiris, or Pathans will lead the people to the era of ignorance. Kashmir is jugular vein (Shahrag) of Pakistan. The proposal that Maqbooza Kashmir should be made an independent country is synonymous to suggesting a new match to a married daughter. However, the Punjab (Khalistan) the inherited state of Sikhs is a clear cut case of freedom. India must withdraw its forces from Khalistan and handover charge to its legitimate heirs. Regards,

The Inhabitants of Ghazi Kashmir are bona fide citizens of Pakistan. Questioning this fact is akin to asking an individual’s religion to determine whether the meal was permissible for you after already having the meal.

The liberated portion of the state of Jammu Kashmir which is known as Ghazi Kashmir has already been codified as sixth province of Pakistan. More than 70 % inhabitants of Ghazi Kashmir are living in the other provinces and are mostly getting married there. Amanullah Khan (Late) lived his entire life in Rawalpindi. Similarly, Comrade Maqbool Bhat (Late) also received an enormous amount of help from Pakistan. His wife was living in Karachi who has recently died. However, both could not keep themselves steadfast in their mission.

I personally have a friend from Ghazi Kashmir who has six sisters married in Karachi. He himself did his Bachelor in Engineering from NED University Karachi and used to work in Steel Mills. The Pahari Nationalists who are few in numbers cannot dismember Pakistan again. Only those misinformed of the realities on the ground and on an international level are propagating for independent Kashmir. They must keep in mind the event of Khizer (May Allah be pleased with him) mentioned in Holy Qur’an as well. Khizer did not assert that Almighty God is there, so let the wall fall down. Instead he repaired it free of cost so that no one will snatch the wealth from the orphans which was hidden beneath it.

The status of the independent Maqbooza Kashmir will no better than the peripheral states like Sikkim, Bhutan, Nepal, and Maldives. The liberation leader of Maqbooza Kashmir Mr. Yasin Malik often regrets that despite of the fact he has changed his course of action from merger to freedom of Maqbooza Kashmir. But no Western or European country has come up for their help. East Timor and South Sudan were supported because both constitute Christian majority. We must not fall prey in the hands of the enemy of Islam and destroy the little unity that we have. The solution for the remaining areas comprising of 42,000 square miles still under Indian occupation (known as Maqboooza Kashmir) is to merge with Pakistan after liberation from Indian slavery. Indian leadership did not wish to see the state of Jammu Kashmir becoming a part of Pakistan.  Its leadership conspired with Hari Singh the Hindu ruler of Jammu Kashmir. As a result, Acharya JB Kripalani President of the Indian National Congress after June 03, 1947 when the partition agreement was being signed between Muslim League and Congress asked to see Hari Singh. His message to Singh was to not join with Pakistan as Jammu Kashmir is his personal state. Hari Singh in collaboration with Indian forces started killing the Muslims in the state to sway the numbers to a Hindu majority state. The Muslims of Kashmir with the help of Pakistan reacted and started to control the area but could not liberate it all.  In order to retain the state with India, Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah (Late) was bribed by Indian leadership who divided the Muslims of the state of Jammu Kashmir. For these reasons, Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah is known as a traitor and is called Mir Abdullah of Kashmir. Since then his name is remembered alongside Mir Jaffar and Mir Sadiq, famous traitors in the history of Islam. He facilitated the Indian forces in the occupation of 42,000 square miles of the state Jammu Kashmir AKA Maqbooza Kashmir. Hazrat Qudratullah Shahab (Rehmatullh Elehe) writes in his books that in the United Nations, Mir Abdullah of Kashmir used to defend and was in favour of the Indian occupation on Maqbooza Kashmir. The inhabitants of Maqbooza Kashmir cannot forget the sufferings brought upon them by Abdullah’s family. The Indian government cannot deprive us from our God given birth right of freedom. Hurriyat (G) junks autonomy as solution to K-issue

The Hurriyat Conference (G) today rejected the internal autonomy as a possible solution to the Kashmir issue and reiterated its stand to continue the ongoing struggle for the right to self-determination. In a statement, Hurriyat (G) spokesperson said, “People of Kashmir are fighting for complete freedom from India since last seven decades and not for the rhetorical autonomy. National Conference since its existence has been changing its slogans from autonomy to self-determination at times, and using such slogans as trump card to deceive people of Kashmir.” “People of India, Pakistan and particularly that of Kashmir are paying heavy price for the uncertainty in the region which was created by Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah’s handing over Kashmir to India. The discourse of Kashmir changed in 1938 when Sheikh Abdullah changed Muslim Conference into National Conference which was an act of treason with blood of martyrs of 13th July 1931,” the spokesperson said. He added that whenever NC has been in power they “advocate bombardment on Pakistan administered Kashmir and Pakistan. And in opposition, their love for Pakistan and autonomy is hallow sloganeering, so people must introspect and spare themselves of their deceitful politics.”

Aasiya smells rat in Delhi’s plan to provide shelter to homeless

Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) Chief Aasiya Andrabi today expressed serious concern over, what she said, “The Delhi's plan to build some structures in Jammu Kashmir under its National Urban Livelihood Mission”. “After majority of the state population protested and foiled the Delhi’s design to set up separate colonies for refugees, the rulers are exploring new ways to fulfill their agenda,” Aasiya said in a statement. Referring to the media reports that Delhi was planning to build some structures to provide shelter to homeless and arrange for their subsidized ration, Aasiya said, “It is surprising as who and where are homeless people in Kashmir? By the grace of Allah all of us are bestowed with big or small houses and no state subject is compelled to sleep on footpaths here.”

“Even if there are some homeless people in JK and Delhi wants to rehabilitate them without any hidden agenda, then the non-state subjects should not have been made eligible to get the benefit of this doubtful scheme. Delhi is, overtly or covertly, trying to settle non state subject in Jammu and Kashmir and change its demography,” Aasiya said, adding that “After a number of attempts were foiled by the oppressed but cautious Kashmiris Delhi is now trying to do all this under the garb of humanity.” “Muslim majority of Jammu Kashmir will never allow any such move that is actually aimed at changing the demography of this state,” Aasiya said. “The resistance leadership needs to vigilant and make people understand the good looking but ill-intentioned designs,” Aasiya said.

Meanwhile Aasiya, while referring to NC patron Dr Farooq’s statement that Kashmiris loved Pakistan, said, “Farooq Abdullah has finally accepted what is already known to every sane person. It is clear Kashmiris are in love with that country since the day it was created. Politicians may not accept the bitter truth openly for the fear of losing power and perks from India but in the heart of their hearts they too know that what Kashmiris are up to. “

Kashmiris love Pakistan: Dr Farooq

Former Chief Minister and President National Conference (NC), Dr Farooq Abdullah, Thursday said that people of Kashmir harbor love for Pakistan and that New Delhi cannot wipe it out even if throws open all its coffers.

“Here in Kashmir people love Pakistan. Even if you (New Delhi) will throw all your treasuries open for them, you can’t take away the sentiment from their hearts. So, what can Farooq Abdullah do in this regard,” Farooq said addressing party workers during a function, held on the anniversary of former Minister Abdul Gani Veeri, at Khanabal here. Farooq was referring to recent controversy in NIT Srinagar following which many questioned Kashmiris’ ‘love for Pakistan and hatred against India.’

The local students in the campus had celebrated India's defeat over West Indies in the Cricket World Cup T20 semi-final which irked the outstation students who later, carrying tri-color, tried to take out a march outside the campus. “The more Kashmiris are suppressed, the more their love for Pakistan will grow,” said Farooq. “New Delhi thinks that by offering lucrative packages they can buy Kashmiris and erode the sentiment but it will not happen. Kashmiris will take the package but won’t change a bit,” said Farooq with the entire gathering bursting into laughter. Farooq said: “New Delhi always boasts of providing liberal economic packages, but in reality took away whatever we owned.” Without naming India or Pakistan, Farooq said neither of them have any love lost for Kashmiris, instead, they are only after the land. Emphasizing on better Indo-Pak relations, Farooq said, “Both the countries should hold dialogue to resolve all outstanding issues including Kashmir.”He added that certain elements who are thriving on conflict will never want the issue to get resolved.

“These people get money from both sides – India and Pakistan,” Farooq said. Reiterating his earlier stand of status quo on either side of Kashmir, Farooq claimed: “Mein Imandari Se KehtaHoon, Na Unko (Pakistan) Yeh (J&K) Mile Ga, Na Humko (India) Woh (PaK) (roughly meaning neither will Pakistan get J&K nor can India get PaK.” He said that the only solution is to grant both sides complete autonomy and do away with any restrictions of trade and travel. “The LoC should be softened with more people-to-people contact and strengthening of trade and cultural ties,” said Farooq. “I too wish to visit Lahore and offer Fateha (prayers) to my maternal uncle and maternal great grandfather who are buried there,” said Farooq.Farooq said both New Delhi and Islamabad hatched conspiracies to destroy NC but failed every time. “Neither India nor Pakistan respect Kashmiris, and our party and its stalwart Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah sacrificed immensely for safeguarding their (Kashmiris’) honor and dignity,” he said.

Taking a dig at Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for ‘betraying’ Kashmiris,’ Farooq said, “These people first hoodwinked Kashmiris with green color, sought votes to stop RSS arrival in J&K and later joined hands with them.” He said: “Mufti during his last days of life was heart-broken, disillusioned and disappointed.” Earlier, Farooq said that time was ripe for a relook at AFSPA and its removal from areas wherever it is not needed. He questioned AFSPA not being imposed in Chhattisgarh, “All the time CRPF men are being killed there but why don’t they have AFSPA in force there.” On upcoming by-elections for Anantnag Assembly seat, NC president said decision regarding the same would be taken in a party executive committee meeting scheduled for April 23.

Farooq’s younger brother and senior NC leader, Dr Mustafa Kamaal, blamed Army for orchestrating number of massacres in Kashmir valley. Kamaal was commenting about recent Handwara killings. “Since the time Army has been brought in to fight militancy, many such big incidents have taken place,” Kamaal told media persons. He said that Chattisinghpora massacre, where 35 Sikhs were killed, was “the handiwork of Army.” “Even Pathribal, Wandhama and Sangrampora massacres were carried out by Army,” he said, adding that this brand of politics will not help the central government in Kashmir. Others who spoke on the occasion included party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar; Provincial President Nasir AslamWani; Ali Muhammad Dar; MLC and son of late Veeri, Bashir Ahmad.
