ON BEHALF OF THE KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE, EID MUBARAK TO ALL!: HABIB YOUSAFZAI, CHAIRMAN OF THE KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE
ASSLAAM-O-ALAIKUM!
On behalf of the Kashmir Diaspora Alliance, we would like to wish all a very joyous and blessed Eid Mubarak. On this day, we should give thanks to our lord, Almighty Allah that he has blessed us with the honour of fasting for him once more. Also, we should remember that although we have gone through a bit of hardship in this month of Ramadan, there are many who are constantly in the state of hunger due to poverty, and, are not able to practice their religious obligations such as those in occupied territories. We are unable to be truly happy on this joyous occasion as those that we love continue to live in hardship and oppression. May God have mercy on them and give them the freedom to celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid as we do. Allah says in the Quran in Surah 94, verse numbers 5-6, “For indeed, with hardship will be ease (5) Indeed with hardship will be ease (6)”, as such, we are sure that there cries have not fallen on deaf ears.
Let us give thanks to Almighty Allah for all the blessings that he has bestowed upon us, pray that he accepts our tiny efforts, and helps all those who are oppressed. Eid Mubarak to all!
