Habib Yousafzai’s son, Ali Yousafzai has recently married to Sohana Yousafzai and their Valima ceremony was held on August 31, 2014 at the Grand Taj Banquet Hall. It was truly a blessed and joyous event.
The duties of hosting were performed by Ms. Hira Hassan. The event was started by recitation of Holy Qur’an by Mohammad Barkatullah. Many relatives, friends, great political personalities, Media/Press people were present, including Mr. Ahsan Qureshi, Mr. Mushtaq Anjum the president of Kashmir Welfare Society, Syed Noushad Hussain of Pakistan Muslim League (N), Dr.Azrab Khan, Khawaja Rafiq, Farooq Siddiqi Sahib,Raja Asaf,Younis Chaudhry, Aziz Chaudhry, Engineer Zamiruddin,Ifrahim Yousafzai, Shabbir Bhatti, Idrees Khan, Zahid Khan, with many others. In addition, many prominent figures from the Sikh community were also present including Dr. Awatar Singh Sekhon Foreign Affairs Advisor Dal Khalsa Alliance, the designators from United Front of Sikhs, Sardar Sukhmindar Singh Hansara, Balkar Singh Heir, Majeet Singh, and Sukhdev Singh Gill the producer of Aj De Awaz.
A round table discussion of the present political situation of Pakistan was discussed over a luxurious dinner. Many individuals emphasized the necessity of ending the present turmoil taking place in Pakistan, however, through the means of a democratic government. A strong Pakistan is essential to protect Indian Muslims from subjugation of communal Hindu India and better the lives of its own inhabitants. A powerful and stable Pakistan will also lead to faster results in the resolution and liberation of Maqbooza Kashmir from Indian occupation.
Habib Yousafzai thanked all those that attended Ali’s Valima ceremony and all those who could not attend were truly missed. He also requested to pray for the prosperity of both son and his wife in the future. The event was pleasantly concluded at 2:00 am.
