These blessings and good wishes are passed on to every single individual, regardless of one’s creed, religion, his nationality, or the colour of his or her skin. At the end of the day, the Kashmir Welfare Society Canada would like to assert that there is a self realization that all human beings must come to, and it is this realization which is the very foundation of all peace and harmony which in itself is the end goal for us; that we are all brothers and sisters in humankind.

As such, the Kashmir Welfare Society Canada would like to wish a very happy Eid Mubarak and blessings to all. May this occasion be one where we can spread happiness and joy to each other amongst not only our families, but also to those that we do not know well; our neighbors the ones walking along the street, even if it is through simple acts such as a smile. May we also use this occasion to thank our Lord for all his blessings. Human beings by nature are very selfish, and we must give thanks as much as we can as there is much we have to be thankful for. Lastly, we must make a solemn pledge to stay united in every facet of our lives; to our personal causes, to our families, and to our nation all for the betterment of humanity. Happy Eid to all!
