WITH THE LAST DAY OF RAMADAN COMES JOYOUS CELEBRATION; HAPPY EID MUBARAK TO ALL OF HUMANITY REGARDLESS OF THEIR RELIGION:
HABIB YOUSAFZAI, KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE

ASSALAM-O-AKLAILUM!

I would like to wish everyone a blessed and joyous Eid Mubarak! The holy month of Ramadan has just passed and the lessons that we have learned throughout this blessed month are fresh in our minds. This month is about so much more than merely hunger and thirst. Sacrifice, peace, love, tranquility, aiding those less fortunate, and the denial of all vices and negative feelings; this is what lies at the core of fasting during the month of Ramadan. But it is pertinent to realize that the lessons learned in Ramadan should not only be restricted to this month alone. The fasting within the month and the lessons which are learnt during it, mainly the act of abstaining from all sins and striving to spread love through helping others is something which must be and is meant to be practiced year round.

With this said, I pray that by the grace of God (Almighty), we all strive to live our lives year round with the message and lessons which we have both learned and practiced during the month of Ramadan. Love is at the core Islam, and such, at the core of this month which has just passed and must remain the guiding principle and thesis for all of our activities. Once again, I bid everyone regardless of religion (to all humanity on the face of earth) a very blessed and Happy Eid Mubarak. May Allah (Almighty) guide us all to the path of righteousness, and May He bless all our families with good health.
