President
Sardar Yaqoob Khan, Mr.Farooq Siddiqi and Ms. Farzana Yaqoob will give their
views on the current situation in the region of concern. Mr.Ali Raza Syed will
highlight the aim of the Kashmir EU Week and announce the program of the event,
as well as the international guests and MEPs invited to contribute in the
program. The event is hosted by Mr.Sajjad Karim MEP (ECR). The Kashmir EU Week
2013 offers a three Day Exhibition of Kashmiri art, literature, handicrafts, paintings,
photographs and music, that reflects the plight and courage of the Kashmiri
people in their heroic struggle for justice, dignity and freedom; an exhibition
on grim contrasts.
In a
special Seminar (Room 5E2 in ASP building European Parliament - 14h to 16h
“KASHMIR
CONFLICT ‘THE FORGOTTEN TERRITORY OF SOUTH ASIA”. The speakers will contribute
in persons and via a video-link to Srinagar.
