PAKISTAN MUST TAKE SWIFT POLITICAL ACTION IN SECURING ITS LIBERATED TERRITORY AND LIBERATING THOSE WHICH HAVE BEEN OCCUPIED: HABIB YOUSAFZAI, CHAIRMAN OF THE KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE

PAKISTAN MUST TAKE SWIFT POLITICAL ACTION IN SECURING ITS LIBERATED TERRITORY AND LIBERATING THOSE WHICH HAVE BEEN OCCUPIED: HABIB YOUSAFZAI,
CHAIRMAN OF THE KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE

ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM!

Muslims of Pakistan along with the Muslims of Kashmir liberated what is now known as Azad Kashmir, the only part of Kashmir which is not occupied by the Indian government. The remaining portion of Maqbooza Kashmir will also be liberated by Pakistan with the full support of all its inhabitants and all those that are willing to stand for justice and human rights in case the United Nations fails to take action.

It is not the case where Maqbooza Kashmir will be liberated by the Muslims of Azad Kashmir and if there is any problem with the Muslims of Gujarat, India, only Urdu speaking people in Karachi will go ahead and solve their problems. Or if there was any problems with the Muslims of Afghanistan, than it would only be the Muslims of Khyber Pakhtoon Khawa that would go to their aid, or for that matter that any problems in Iran would be sorted out by those in Baluchistan. Similarly, Muslims of Punjab would go for the help of the people of Punjab (Khalistan) also under illegal occupation since August 15,1947 by India.

The state of Jammu and Kashmir is a Muslim majority state and its people are the legal part of the Pakistani state and citizens respectively. Azad Kashmir has already been liberated, and there is no dispute with regards to this territory. The real issue is that despite having Maqbooza Kashmir’s fate already being decided on July 19, 1947 and them having already given their verdict to accede to Pakistan, the Indian government still remains as an occupier. As such, although not truly legitimate as per originally decided by the partition plan, a referendum should only take place in Maqbooza Kashmir which has been illegally occupied.

Pakistan must take swift action in order to adopt a resolution to the problem at hand. The areas which have been liberated such as Azad Kashmir must be secured through military and political means by making it the sixth province. Those that are occupied must be liberated through political means after which it should also become a part of the newly created province.
