WE STRONGLY CONDEMN THE INDIAN GOVERNMENT FOR ARRESTING DUKHTARAN-E-MILLAT CHIEF ASIYA ANDRAB FOR OBJECTING ITS BAN ON THE USE OF BEEF IN MQBOOZA KASHMIR: HABIB YOUSAFZAI,
THE CHAIRMAN KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE
ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM!
Kashmir Diaspora Alliance strongly condemns the actions of the Indian Government for arresting Asiya Andrabi, the Chief of Dukhtaran-e-Millat for raising her voice against restrictions imposed to use beef in the state. The so called world’s largest democracy has continuously been carrying out genocide in the occupied territory. It has already butchered over 200,000 innocent Muslims to suppress their voice for freedom. What a paradox; it is banning beef and at the same time promoting the usage of alcohol.
The Srinagar court on Saturday remanded Dukhtaran-e-Millat chief Asiya Andrabi to three days police custody in connection with the case registered against her for objecting India decision to ban the use of beef in the occupied territory. Asiya, who was arrested along with her personal secretary from Soura residence on Friday, was introduced before court of City Munsiff who remanded her to 3 days police remand. The spokesperson quoting Asiya also ridiculed the claim of police that she was arrested while trying to break the cordon last night. “Asiya Andrabi, who was produced before a court, said that the police claim is a white lie and the fact of the matter is that I was asleep when my door was knocked and taken into custody,” the spokesperson said. She said that the police was trying to justify the “illogical arrest by making false claims.”
It is common to kill the Muslims through fake encounters and unlawfully arresting them under draconian laws. Another renowned liberation leader Massarat Aalam is still under Police custody. He was arrested in connection with the case registered against him for allegedly hoisting Pakistani flag. The inhabitants of Maqbooza Kashmir spirit cannot be defeated by these measures and the Muslims will keep striving for their accession with Pakistan despite this oppression. Indian government must understand that it cannot suppress the voice of the people by killing, maiming, and dishonoring of females. Regards,
