Yousuf Naqash in a joint statement to the press has said that the statements
coming from international community particularly European union & America
are testimony to the fact the sacrifices by people of Kashmir are bearing fruit
& the global powers understand that Kashmir dispute needs resolution
as per the wishes of Kashmiris, now the responsibility of the pro freedom
leaders & activists is to keep vigil against the elements working
to fulfill the expansionist designs of India, these people give
false impression of being well wishers of freedom movement while as their goal is
to reach Panchayets, municipalities & assembly, they create scenes to
attract media & people’s attention working under their mentors from Delhi,
the example of engineer Rashid who uses assembly as his stage to prove himself
as a good actor. He stages dramas for the mortal remains of Shaheed Afzal Guru,
while as he make serious & sensitive issues concerning freedom movement
& at times the welfare of people to look ordinary and smaller & of
lesser importance. he never raises the issue of discrimination against Kashmiris
by people from Jammu. In an assembly whose head Omer Abdullah himself has
publicly confessed of being helpless, powerless & working as daily wager,
what is Eng. Rashid doing & expecting there. Why he is not resigning &
joining people in their struggle against the forcible occupation. Rashid should
concentrate for his own welfare & assembly seat, as there are people to
look after issues concerning freedom movement & the final resolution of
Kashmir dispute, we don’t need people who take oath to safeguard Indian
constitution.
