MY DUE REGARDS AND CONDOLENCES TO MR. KHAWAJA RAFIQUE AND
HIS FAMILY: HABIB YOUSAFZAI, CHAIRMAN KASHMIR DIASPORA ALLIANCE
ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM!
On November 24, 2013, the mother of Mr. Khawaja Rafique
passed away in Kotli Azad Kashmir, Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Upon setting
out to visit her in person, and not knowing of the tragedy which had just taken
place, Mr. Rafique’s niece had a heart attack and passed away after learning
about her grandmother. This occurrence is
extremely shocking and a lesson for us all.
I pray to Allah (SWT) to give both of them the intercession
of Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him and forgive all of their
sins. I also pray that God Almighty give the family along with Mr. Rafique
forbearance and patience in this incredibly difficult and testing time. I would
ask all to also do the same.
