ASSLAAM-O-ALAIKUM!
I would like to assert that both of your
efforts are very commendable. It is the moral duty of man to stand up for the
oppressed whether they are a part of our own nation, or, any other individual
who is oppressed. Our Prophet, Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) has clearly related
in a Hadith Qudsi from Allah Almighty Himself, “I shall take revenge on the
oppressor in this world and the next. I shall take revenge on someone who saw
the person being oppressed and was able to help him but did not”-Hadith Qudsi.
Further, in another Hadith, Prophet (PBUH) relates, “The best Jihad is to speak
a word of truth to a tyrannical ruler”.
What message can we take from here? It
is clear that not only as human beings, but as Muslims, it is our religious
duty to follow the footsteps of our Prophet (PBUH) and stand up for the
oppressed. If we cannot do this by physical means, can we not at least do this
through the means of raising our voices for those who have no voice? Can we not
do this by delegitimizing those who would seek to defame our cause such is
these so called “secularist separatists” who care little of human rights, and
everything of their own selfish material interest. The fact is, the Muslim
state is the beacon of hope for the Kashmiri cause, and that state is the Islamic
Republic of Pakistan.
