PRESS RELEASE

January 9, 2013

Senior Hurriyat member and Chairman Islamic Political Party (JK) Mr.Mohammad Yousuf Naqash while interacting with people in corner meetings at Ellahi bagh, Malbagh and adjacent areas said  that though Indian government is hell bent on defaming the ongoing movement in Kashmir through malicious propaganda at all levels, it cannot succeed because world knows that the subjugated, oppressed and tormented Kashmiri human beings are struggling for securing their curbed rights including their birth right, Right to self determination and are bearing intolerable sufferings including the loss of one generation, mass indignity, violation of the chastity of women folk, torturous condition of thousands jailed young and old, destruction of properties worth trillions and worst kind of economic down fall and are determined to take this movement to its logical conclusion. Such unabated brutal repression of Indian government and its 700,000 forces can never prove successful in breaking the will of Kashmiri people nor will they allow their unparalleled supreme innumerable sacrifices go waste. Mr.Naqash further said that situation in the world is fast changing and ongoing movements for Right to self determination are gaining ground which we witness in the freedom of East Timor and South Sudan following the same kind of unique position of Palestine, Ireland and Moreland on the world map in the near future and people of Kashmir will also secure their birth right in the near future.
