It is really comical.

The monkey is sacred because it is in the image of Hanuman.The mouse is sacred because it is in the image of the transport for Ganesh.The pea cock is sacred because it is in the image of the transport for Murukan. The Eagle is sacred because it is in the image of the car that Vishnu uses. Hindus hold many animals and birds sacred and do not harm them because they are in the image of the utilities of the gods. But Hindutwadis have no compunction whatsoever in killing, burning, raping, maiming men and women and innocent children of other ethnic groups though these hapless human victims are in the image of the very gods themselves whereas the animals they revere are in the image of the animals used by the gods only. Strange are the ways of religion - all of them without exception. Yes. By all means ban the slaughter of cows and monkeys and instead let us slaughter the minorities and you will be rewarded in the next rebirth.
