Chairman Islamic Political Party (Maqbooza Jammu and Kashmir) Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Naqash while expressing deep shock and regret on the death of Pakistani prisoner Sana Ullah and strongly condemned the murderous assault on him in Indian jail by a criminal which caused his death. Mr.Naqash said that his killer should be brought to justice for this heinous crime and his body should be handed over to his family in Pakistan. Mr.Naqash further said that prisoners from Pakistan and Kashmir are not only attacked and ill treated at the behest of jail authorities in India, they are kept in unhygienic cells and provided unhygienic food and also denied medical treatment and medicines and due to this inhuman attitude to them many of these prisoners fell prey to dreaded diseases in Indian jails.  Print and electronic media often carries the news about the ill and in human treatment to our prisoners in Indian jails and about the protests by Kashmiri people in this regard. Even the international human rights organizations including international committee of Red Cross have been time and again informed requested and interacted about this burning issue but unfortunately no action has been taken till date to pacify the grievances and miseries of our political prisoners in Indian jails. Mr. Naqash appealed these international human rights organizations to prevail upon Indian Government to take immediate steps for ensuring the safety and security of our prisoners besides human treatment, hygienic food and access to medical treatment and medicines. Mr. Naqash expressed deep shock on the sad demise of wife of the senior pro freedom leader Mr. Sheikh Abdul Mateen and personally visited the house of Mateen Sahab to condole the death of his wife and to express solidarity with the bereaved family.
